Morgan Chapel Free Will Baptist is located off Hwy 19E on Roaring Creek Road in Carter County in Upper East Tennessee. The church is located on Ripshin Mountain on the banks of Ripshin Lake. Morgan Chapel is a member of the Toe River Free Will Baptist Association, the State of Tennessee and Nation Association of Free Will Baptist. We send a monthly support to missionary George Hughes with the "Sowing the Seed Ministry" and the Free Will Baptist Family Ministries. Brother Hughes is a working for Jesus Christ spreading the Gospel in Mexico and the FWB Family Ministries, through God's work, is changing lives for many and winning many souls for Christ. We also support other missionaries by participating in the "Don and Billy Sexton Walk-a-Thon" for foreign missionaries. Our pastor and other members of Morgan Chapel travel to Mexico twice a year with the "Working for Jesus" mission team. This mission team is made up of many Christians from East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. The "Working for Jesus Mission Team" works through Berea Ministries based in Morristown, Tennessee. We use the King James translation of God's Holy Word.
